Sustainable Development Goals

What could your design challenge topic be?
One focus of the Center for Health Experience Design is to facilitate multi-stakeholder collaborations that create real change. How might you take on inspiring projects with awesome partners? Opportunities range from sponsoring workshops, developing prototypes, conducting deep research and publishing those insights, or piloting an innovation for feedback. Reach out to CHXD to discuss which of the following ideas speak to you. We’ve mapped each concept back to one of the United Nations’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future, we believe these goals are the most important calls to action for everyone, and we want to be part of the global partnership with you.
Workshop
Participate in a one- or two-day immersion to jumpstart ideation for a particular problem statement. Work with stakeholders, with a group of designers, or create a participatory workshop.
Prototyping
Make your concept a reality by building a working prototype for user testing and research.
Insight Generation/Publishing
Gain new understanding through a deep research dive into a specific topic and then advance the conversation by publishing to the industry.
Piloting
Create a multistakeholder group to test your pilot concept and get the feedback needed to iterate.
