Many healthcare organizations are undergoing transformation efforts to incorporate design thinking, human-centered design, and other innovative practices to better meet the needs of patients and their caregivers. Yet these efforts to shift towards a more patient-centered approach are difficult for organizations to adopt and sustain in order to truly have the impact they intended.
To this end, we’ve developed a “fitness model” that helps organizations assess the cultural attributes and organizational behaviors that can either support or impede this transformation and prioritize efforts that will create the conditions to integrate human-centered design and other innovative practices.
In this one-hour video, we’ll take you through the fitness model and its scales, and show you how organizations use this model to support their human-centered transformation efforts.
