Meet Design for America (DFA)! Learn how working with students can help bring innovation–new ideas, new processes, and new perspectives–into organizations. Hear from current DFA students, and partner organizations; as they share select case studies and personal experiences from their participation in social impact design projects that address business and user needs.
DFA is a national network of college students and innovators using design for social impact. Now on 41 campuses and engaging 1,100 students and 3,500 alumni, DFA is a 2018 winner of a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award recognized for its ability to educate optimistic designers at a global scale.
In this session you will:
- Recognize the benefits of working with students to help bring innovation and design into organizations.
- Gain Insights into the most contemporary design practices being utilized by today’s students (your future employees!).
- Learn how to find the best student interns to support your design projects.
