Health x Design Challenge: Building Health into Everyday Life
Mad*Pow and Health 2.0 Advocates held a design challenge in 2019, sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We asked the health and design community to envision solutions that reshape everyday life to be healthier by default.
The focus of this design challenge was to imagine how, in the near future, we might use technology to make health an integral part of our daily routines.

Engaging Patients & Clinicians by Envisioning a Better Approach to Pain Assessment
There is a significant opportunity to better calibrate the prescribing of opioids to the actual needs of patients. The complexity of the opioid crisis requires us to try new approaches for problem-solving. We can gain new and better insights by engaging both patients and clinicians to co-design solutions. Mass Health Quality Partners and the Center for Health Experience Design have stepped up to do just that.
