Health x Design: Building Health into Everyday Life
Mad*Pow and Health 2.0 Advocates have launched a design challenge, sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. We ask the health and design community to envision solutions that reshape everyday life to be healthier by default.
The Opioid Response Innovation Initiative is a collaborative design and technology development effort. With a cross-functional group of community health providers, health agencies, research bodies, and technology innovators, we are working together to identify ways in which open source technology can aide the opioid crisis response.
Engaging Patients & Clinicians by Envisioning a Better Approach to Pain Assessment
There is a significant opportunity to better calibrate the prescribing of opioids to the actual needs of patients. The complexity of the opioid crisis requires us to try new approaches for problem-solving. We can gain new and better insights by engaging both patients and clinicians to co-design solutions. Mass Health Quality Partners and the Center for Health Experience Design have stepped up to do just that.
Our partners include fledgling startups and global corporations. Above all, we’re people who care about making a difference and solving the toughest health challenges. Want to work on big topics like chronic disease management or the impact of climate change on human health? CHXD can assemble a group of partners to make solving these tough challenges more real.
Mad*Pow is a strategic design consultantcy that helps deliver innovative experiences and compelling digital solutions to motivate and engage people, while producing positive health outcomes and measurable business impact.
